Hi, my name is Houssam Bouarif. I hold a Ph.D. in Linguistics, with a focus on cross-cultural communication. Over the past five years, I’ve taught English at Speak Up School in Kyiv, working with students of all ages and backgrounds. I’m passionate about helping learners not only master the language but also understand the cultural context behind how we communicate. In addition to teaching, I’ve worked in international roles across healthcare, logistics, and customer support experiences that have strengthened my communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Currently, I work as an Intercom Manager, where I continue to use language as a tool to connect and support people.
